Pursuit of happiness: the right to try to find a pleasurable or satisfying experience.
The Weeknd is an up and coming r&b duo that can accredit their viral buzz to their fellow Canadian Drake who posted some of their tracks on his blog not too long ago. Amidst the online hype they are still illusive and difficult to get a hold of but the vocals belong to Abel Tesfaye who sounds like a mature Chris Brown but comes attached with unique, unorthodox instrumentals rather then typical pop construction. Their music blends genre’s like lo-fi, electronic and r&b into one original and intoxicating debut mixtape, House of Balloons. House of Balloons features “What You Need”, “Wicked Games” and the opening track “High For This”.
